A reservoir (pronounced either REZ-ur-vore or REZ-er-vwar, etymology: from French réservoir a “storehouse [1]) or an artificial lake is used to store water. Reservoirs may be created in river valleys by the construction of a dam or may be built by excavation in the ground or by conventional construction techniques such as brickwork or cast concrete
The is an on-line reservoir. Its purpose is to store things which influence my perception, understanding and enjoyment of existence. There is more information than ever before, but this is not directly proportional to our acquiring of wisdom. The items ‘stored’ here are things which I feel should not be ignored or forgotten.
